I think we all know how much our wallet dreads going into Dover Saddlery with us.. or any tack store for that matter. It usually results in more than a hundred dollars being spent on 1 or 2 items. It’s tough enough financially being an equestrian on a budget but even tougher when you also have other things to pay for besides breeches or tack.
I am a huge bargain hunter, and I usually can find the best deals on a lot of equestrian items. I love Kerrits Brand everything! I have about 20 pairs of breeches and all of them are from Kerrits. Not only are they super affordable, but they’re also durable and comfortable! I chose 3 of my favorite Kerrits riding pants to review below:
These pants are so comfortable, and don’t break the bank! They have the typical look and feel of breeches without the price of a pair of Tailoreds. They come in 6 colors and can be purchased for $29.99 on the Dover website. Amazon has them for $35.00.
These come in so many colors and are the best riding pants I have ever owned! They last forever and never shrink between washes. I love their fit, and they have a super flattering waistband. These are definitely a pair of riding pants that last for years, and don’t break the bank. They can be purchased for $45.46 at SmartPak, and $49 at Kerrits. Amazon has them for $37.09.
Riding in the winter can be a bear to begin with, but these pants make it bearable! They have a fleece interior, but are still super stretchy and breathable. They don’t let wind through, so you’ll be able to stay nice and warm in the saddle. They can be purchased for $48.07 at SmartPak and $54.99 on Amazon.
Erin is a junior in college who also dabbles in the equestrian world. Although she doesn’t currently show, she rides every chance she gets. She has learned to balance working, a full time course load, and working on becoming a better rider. In the future, she plans on getting a job in communications or marketing for an equestrian company. She can be found on:
