Product Review: Joules Rain Coat

As I began to pack for Rolex, I looked at the weather and was so worried since it was supposed to rain all day on Saturday and partly on Sunday! I thankfully had remembered that I had received a Joules rain coat for my birthday the year prior. Although it says waterproof on the jacket, the material of the jacket is interesting so I went out and bought an extra rain jacket, just in case.

While getting ready on Saturday morning I decided to leave my extra jacket at home and give my Joules a try. After standing in the non-stop rain for the whole day I never once got wet or cold. It was perfect!

First, it is the perfect length to keep me dry and warm. Second, the color of the jacket is a pretty shade of green, which was great because if I ever were to get separated from the few others I went with then I would be easy to find! Third, the jacket has two large pockets that were large enough to keep my phone, wallet and chapstick. Fourth, the pockets kept everything dry. Additionally, the jacket was so cute. It zipped up and had buttons as well. The hood was even large enough to wear a ballcap with it. I was totally surprised with how well the jacket kept me dry, but I did not overheat as it was pretty warm outside despite the rainy weather.
