Congratulations to our new brand ambassadors. We would like to keep the new program small and intimate to start out, so we are not currently accepting any more applications at this time. When we reopen the program for new ambassadors, we will let you know. Please read below for more information about who we selected to represent us!
Chelsea was born and raised in New Jersey and started riding at about age 6 and horse showing at age 8. She rode on her college’s IHSA team. After graduating in 2011 with a BFA in Printmaking, she began seriously showing as an Adult Amateur in the Hunter and Pleasure divisions. I have a 16 year old OTTB gelding named Doodle who is a once-in-a-lifetime horse and that she still actively competes and an 8 year old blue roan rescue miniature horse named Muffin that she is teaching to drive. Muffin, according to Chelsea, is also a complete terror. This year, Chelsea was selected as a trainer for the RRP Thoroughbred Makeover and will be competing at the Kentucky Horse Park in October with her new 5 year old OTTB mare, Bluff, who she is training to be a Hunter and Pleasure show horse. She considers herself a huge OTTB advocate and fan, and she is completely loving the new experiences she is receiving with training a Thoroughbred straight off the track.
Lizzy, 20, is a junior at Auburn University. She is an Amateur rider and recently went to Pony Finals helping her team win the gold. She just got an 11-year-old Argentinian warmblood named Lucy and, they are going to do the jumpers together. She is an Amateur rider and can be found at lizzy_simonian on Twitter. She is also an advocate for eating disorder awareness.
Kate is a 16-year-old eventer & junior rider out of Chicago. She began seriously riding at the age of 9 after becoming instantly hooked after she rode a horse at a “dude ranch.” Currently sidelined with medical issues, she hopes to regain back her health and strength this summer along with starting riding again. Eventually she will return to leasing a horse in hopes to compete in some dressage shows and local horse trials. She also enjoys art, especially photography, and also loves to volunteer at a local animal shelter. Kate is also currently an ambassador for Kerrits Equestrian and K. Marie Equestrian.
Sarah started riding at 12 years old, but didn’t start seriously riding until she was 14. She began competing at 15. She started her riding career riding Western, but she eventually switched to the jumpers, and then fell in love with Dressage.
Sarah currently owns three horses: Her show horse Hoogvlieger, or Mouse, a 16 year old Trakehner. She is currently showing Training, 1st Level and hopes to be showing 1st-2nd level by next show season. Her second horse is a 17 year old OTTB named Moose. He is retired and living a happy and healthy life at her small farm in Kentucky. Finally, she owns Murray’s Halo, a 2 year old Thoroughbred, currently in professional training.
Sarah is from Kentucky and owns a small private facility there. She is lucky enough to be able to keep all three of her horses at home. Along with being an ambassador for The Legal Equestrian, Sarah is an ambassador for the small, all natural company Horse’s Happy Hair, and she is a #KatherineGirl for Katherine Cosmetics.
